By selecting "Add to Cart" or "Rent Now" and completing the purchase/checkout process, you agree to the following Hire Policy and Hire Terms & Conditions.
Please check availability of your desired item(s) by selecting your required dates in the booking calendar, select your size, click the Rent Now button and proceed to check out to secure your hire. Please make sure you have selected the correct sizing and date before you continue with the checkout process, as all orders will be completed and prepared as per your online booking/order.
YOTN is a Dress Hire Boutique all stock has been previously worn. Customers need to consider there may be signs of general ware of garments, minor faults & imperfections in our items. YOTN do not control the quality of the designers garments that we purchase for your hire and will not take responsibility for the quality or cut/ sizing in their design.

BOOKING TIMEFRAME CUT OFFS-
- MONDAY DELIVERY- If you wish to receive your garment on a MONDAY, your booking must be made prior to 11am the Thursday before (due to YOTN being closed on Friday's).
- TUESDAY DELIVERY- If you wish to receive your garment on a TUESDAY, your booking must be made prior to 11am the Monday before.
- WEDNESDAY DELIVERY- If you wish to receive your garment on a WEDNESDAY, your booking must be made prior to 11am the Tuesday before.
- THURSDAY DELIVERY- If you wish to receive your garment on a THURSDAY, your booking must be made prior to 11am the Tuesday before ( due to YOTN being closed on Wednesday's).
- FRIDAY DELIVERY- If you wish to receive your garment on a FRIDAY, your booking must be made prior to 11am the Thursday before.
- YOTN do not deliver on a Saturday or Sunday.
Any bookings are made after the timeframe above will NOT receive their garment until the following day. Your Return date will still remain the 4th or 8th day of your hire period.
TRY ON SERVICE
Our Try On Service may not be available on all Hire stock depending on the popularity or size, please contact YOTN at email@example.com if your wish to enquire about a item(s) that is not available.
Your Try On Service will be sent via express post on a Monday only. All Try On Services fall under our normal hire policy, with the requirement to return your dress back to us on the Wednesday, which will be the day after you received it from Australia post. Removal of the TRY ON tag will result in full cost of the hire garment. *Please note Try On Services are not available between the 1st of September and the 31st of January.
All of our item(s) are generally a 4 day or 8 Day Hire. We can offer Holiday hires upon your request. Your item will be shipped to you in time for your event, and it must be posted back to us on the 4th or 8th day of your hire period or day after your event. Please follow our Return Instructions included with your order to return your garment to avoid incurring any late fee’s. Our Return Instructions are also listed below*.
*If you have hired item(s) for a weekend event, your item(s) must be returned to us by 12noon AEST on MONDAY. If you have a weekday hire, all items(s) must be returned to us by 12noon AEST the FOLLOWING DAY or the Date selected on your Return card.
All payments are processed online through Mastercard, Visa, PayPal or After pay, based on your preference. You will be charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) at your time of booking. YOTN reserves the right to change pricing on our website at any time, without notice. Once you complete the checkout process, your payment is secure.
YOTN will need to make contact with all customers prior to sending out our garments. YOTN will send a text message before or on the day your order is due to be posted out to request a copy of your Photo Identification. This will be held as a form of security for the length of your hire or Try on service & will be removed from your file once the item has been returned in good order. YOTN are unable to send your package until we receive your photo ID. Failure or delay to send through your ID may result in your order being delayed. YOTN take no responsibility if you deduct days from your hire period by a delay in sending through your ID. If the renter fails to meet this requirement YOTN will consider this a breach in our T & C and reserves the right to refuse to send the garment/ item and will consider the booking canceled by the renter, the renter will not receive a refund or credit due to the loss of business.
You must return your item(s) on Monday before 12 noon AEST (weekend hire) or before 12noon AEST day after your event (weekday hire). Please follow your return instructions on the card provided, you must lodge the return at the post office on your return date and be sure to send a copy of your lodgement receipt for proof of shipping. If you fail to do so, you continue to hold responsibility for the hire and if it fails to return back to YOTN, is late or you incorrectly lodge or return your order you will then be charged accordingly.
Late returns attract a late fee of 25% of the hired price per 24 hours late. You will also be responsible for the hire amount if YOTN are unable to send the item/items onto its next hire due to your neglect on returning your order on time. YOTN reserves the right to deduct such additional late fees from the renters Card if provided at the time of booking, or the renter will be issued a invoice which must be payed in full with in 7 days.
If you have returned the rental item(s) but is more than 10 days overdue, YOTN will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and reserve the right to charge the Customers the full items RRP.
If the item(s) are not returned, YOTN reserves the right to charge your Card or issue you a invoice for an amount determined by YOTN, by assessing the replaceable value considering the demand of the item(s) in the market, the availability to purchase the item(s) in the market, the pre-existing hires upcoming for the item(s), and the rental fee that the customer has already made.
All Invoices charged to the renter from YOTN for any of the above payments, are required to be payed in full with in 7 Days of being issued. Interest fees of 2% per day may occur from the day your invoice is overdue. Fail to make payment will result in legal action and/or use of third party collection agencies.
If the Customer fails to return the items(s) in the required condition, or if the item(s) is not received back by the Customer, YOTN reserves the right to charge your Card, or issue a invoice in which case you will be notified.
If you have not returned your product within 15 days of the return date your product will be considered a non-return and you will be charged 200% of the retail value of the item(s)
YOTN thoroughly inspect all garments that leave our showroom, we recommend that you also inspect your garment, you must notify YOTN and send through photos of any damage if noticed within 4 hours of delivery of the garment, as you may be responsible for damage if we are NOT notified within this time period & sent photo evidence of the damage. Please note garments may differ slightly to images on website, we do not offer refunds if you choose not to wear the garments so please contact us if you have any questions prior to making your booking.
YOTN reserves the right to charge your Card or issue you a invoice if the item(s) is not returned in the same condition as it was delivered.
YOTN may deduct additional repair costs from this amount if any excessive damages have occurred. All item(s) are assessed by our customer service team who will make the final decision of the quality and condition of the returned item(s).
Minor stains (such as water stains) are accepted. For severe staining (especially with fake tan or perfume) we reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of $50.
In the event that fake tan stains the item(s) or perfume damages the fabric or the garment receives any major staining and prevents it from being rehired (meaning the tan, perfume or stains are not removable), YOTN reserves the right to charge the customer the full items RRP, plus additional fees by assessing the replaceable value considering the demand of the item(s) in the market, the availability to purchase the item(s) in the market, the pre-existing hires upcoming for the item(s).
If the item(s) are damaged in any way or has been returned with wear and tear, the Customer is responsible for paying a damage fee and any repair/alteration fees. The minimum Damage fee is $50. The Customer is liable to pay the loss of business fee for the following weeks the item is unavailable to be hired, if the item(s) hold a booking and cannot be supplied due to delay caused by the damage the Customer will be charged additional fees for bookings missed.
- LOST OR STOLEN ITEM(S)
If the item is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, whether or not such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the Customer then the Customer will be liable to pay for replacement of the item. In assessing the replaceable value, YOTN will consider, the demand of the item(s) in the market, the availability to purchase the item(s) in the market, the condition of the item(s).
If you are issued with an invoice from YOTN for any of the above payments, you are required to pay the following in full with in 7 Days of being issued. Fail to make payment will result in legal action and/or use of third party collection agencies.
YOTN is responsible for all cleaning of the item(s) and is included in your rental fee. Minor stains such as water stains etc are included. If any severe/heavy staining occurs, YOTN reserves the right to charge the Customer (based on severity) for additional cleaning fee’s, in which case you will be notified.
For severe staining (especially with fake tan or perfume) we reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of $50.
Under no circumstances should the Customer clean, wash or dry clean the item(s). In the case that the Customer attempts to clean the item(s), a fee may be charged.
REFUNDS, CHANGE OF MIND, BOOKING CANCELLATIONS & BOOKING ALTERATIONS
Please take care when choosing your item(s) and placing a Booking as YOTN reserve the right to refuse any refunds or exchanges on incorrect sizing, change of mind, including but not limited to choosing not to wear a garment or cancellations of bookings.
A Cancelation fee of $25 will occur on all canceled bookings made by the customer.
If you wish to change your booking to be shipped or request a local pick up option this will need to be requested via firstname.lastname@example.org , 14 business days prior to your selected dates as additional arrangement may need to be made.
If you wish to cancel your order -
15 business days or more prior to your *SHIPPING DATE, you will be issued a credit code for the full amount of the hire fee.
If you wish to cancel your booking with in 14 business days of your *SHIPPING DATE you will forfeit the full amount of your hire fee.
All Credit codes will be valid for a 24 month period.
YOTN will not issue a refund or credit code on any sale stock or pre loved item(s).

*The Shipping date is one YOTN select when processing your booking (please note this is not the date you requested it to be delivered. Please request the exact shipping date from YOTN)
If you are requesting a change of date, YOTN will try to accommodate where possible, please be aware this may not always be possible depending on selected items and time of year.
YOTN recommends purchasing our ‘Try On Service’ for any sizing concerns.
YOTN reserves the right to cancel a booking at short notice. Reasons for cancellation may include (but are not limited to) an item not being available due to late return by a previous customer or damage to an item. YOTN endeavour to provide as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation by YOTN, we will offer a full refund, store credit or the option to change the booking to another item.
All item(s) are shipped Australia Wide for a flat rate of $20AUD via Express Post.
YOTN’s express delivery method is operated by Australia Post. Please click here to view Australia Posts delivery times based on your location.
If you live in WA, Rural areas or you are located out of the Australia Post's next day delivery service area, it is the customers responsibility to advise YOTN customer service team at the time of booking that you may require us to post your item early to make sure you receive it on your selected delivery date.
Your hire period starts from the time the courier attempted first delivery or your selected delivery date on your booking form, which ever comes first and credits will not be issued for late delivery where you have not been available to accept delivery.
All parcels are marked authority to leave. If you require your parcel to be signed for you must specify this in the delivery instructions at check out.
When placing an order, you automatically give us authority to leave your parcel in a safe place. If you do not wish to grant us this authority you must clearly outline this in the delivery instructions at checkout.
You understand and agree that this authority to leave gives us and/or our selected couriers permission to leave the order unattended by the front door – or, where applicable, at the reception or concierge’s desk – of the delivery address without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location.
In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the orders delivered and left unattended, and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery.
We do not take responsibility for orders where shipping has not been selected at time of booking or an incorrect/ineligible address & details have been provided. If you have not selected & paid for shipping or the customer supplies YOTN with an incorrect address or booking details, you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind and you may be liable to pay any late fees or a replacement fee if our dress is not returned to us.
RETURNING YOUR HIRED ITEM(S)
When returning your item(s), please follow the clear steps on the Return Instructions Card included with your delivery.
Please use the provided and pre-paid Australia Post Satchel included in your initial delivery.
Please be aware that YOTN requires proof of your item(s) return lodgement. This is the receipt you receive this from your post office when lodging your return item, meaning all returns need to be made in person at an Australia Post Office.
Under no circumstances are you to put your return item in a Post Box without being scanned and lodged correctly, in person at an Australia Post Office.
Failure to follow our clear Return Instructions provided, late fees will apply.
If you loose your return packaging it is your responsibility to return the garment via trackable express post to YOU OWN THE NIGHT DRESS HIRE, 3 HONEYBEE CRESCENT, CALDERWOOD, NSW 2527. You must provide tracking details and a photo your lodgement receipt to email@example.com or txt it to 0499 080 284. All returns must still follow our strict return instructions and be completed by the return date/time in order to avoid further charges.
We will use the information from your order to send you email marketing on occasion. We don’t however pass on any of your detail including your email address to any other companies or corporations. You may opt out of receiving those emails by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or clicking on the unsubscribe option on the bottom of the emails.
By placing an order with YOTN, you authorize YOTN to charge your provided payment method according to the terms outlined above. This payment authorization is for the goods/services described above, for the amount indicated above only. By placing an order with us, you certify that you are an authorized user of your selected payment methods and that you will not dispute the payment with my credit card company; so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated in this Hire Policy.
If YOTN issue a invoice for outstanding fees, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand. If any monies payable remain unpaid by you after 7 days from the date of demand, you authorize You Own The Night to charge any outstanding fees and other amounts due to us in accordance with these Terms and Conditions against any credit card you have on file with us, including but not limited to the credit card, which details are specified above.
YOTN reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect all amounts due from you, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third party collection agencies.
